Manuel Alarcão

Nasceu em 1936. Licenciado em Direito. Depois de alguns anos na magistratura e na advocacia, teve uma longa carreira na gestão empresarial. Procurou um saudável equilíbrio entre responsabilidades profissionais e dedicação à família que construiu com a sua Mulher, Teresa, ao longo de mais de sessenta anos de vida em casal: três filhos e seis netos. Apreciador da Natureza e de coisas simples da Vida, autodidata de diversos "ofícios" : escreveu e ilustrou vários livros, em edições artesanais e limitadas dedicadas aos filhos e aos netos; gosta de jardinar, plantou um roseiral; faz desenho, pintura e fotografia.
