Magdalena Hai is an award-winning author, a lover of fiction of all genres, and a fan of strange and bizarre things. In her stories, she likes to combine elements of science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
The series Little Shop of Scares It has been translated into more than 30 languages. Among the various awards won by Hai are the Finlandia Prize for Children's and YA Literature and the appointment for the Nordic Council Children & Young People's Literature Award.
In addition to writing, Magdalena Hai also teaches composition and works as an editor at the Osuuskumma publishing cooperative.
