Lyndsey Addario é uma fotojornalista norte-americana e colaboradora regular do The New York Times, da National Geographic e da revista Time. Fez a cobertura das guerras no Afeganistão, Iraque, Líbano, Darfur e Congo, e recebeu inúmeros prémios, entre eles o MacArthur Genius Grant e o Pulitzer na categoria de reportagem internacional.

Recentemente, fez reportagens para o The New York Times sobre os refugiados sírios, o ISIS no Iraque, a guerra civil no Sudão, e a chegada de imigrantes africanos à costa da Sicília.
