Lya Luft

A brasileira Lya Luft, de ascendência alemã, nasceu em Santa Cruz do Sul, em 1938, e faleceu em Porto Alegre, em 2021.
Professora universitária de Linguística e de Literatura Brasileira, tradutora de Alemão e Inglês, publicou poemas e contos antes de se aventurar no romance, em 1980, com a publicação de As Parceiras, obra com repercussão imediata. Viria a abordar quase todos os estilos: livro infantil, romance, conto, ensaio ou poema. Também cronista, escreveu regularmente para os principais jornais e revistas do Brasil.
