Luís Parreira nasceu em Lisboa, em meados do ano de 1974. Cedo manifestou inclinação pelo desenho artístico e pela poesia. Terminou o ensino secundário em 1994, tendo se profissionalizado nas áreas alimentar e têxtil. Adora viajar, fotografar e cozinhar.
Com este livro, «Alda – Um Sorriso em Flor», presta uma sentida homenagem à sua falecida mãe.
