Luis García Montero (Granada, 1958) is a poet and professor of Spanish literature at the University of Granada. He is the author of eleven books of poetry and several books of essays. He received the Adonais Prize in 1982 for... The Foreign Garden, Loewe in 1993 and the National Literature Prize in 1994 by Separate roomsIn 2003, with The Intimacy of the Serpent, deserved the National Critics' Award.
