Luís Costa Pires

Luís Costa Pires nasceu em Moçambique, no ano de 1976. Em 1977, viajou para Portugal, onde vive desde então na cidade das Caldas da Rainha. Estudou Gestão de Empresas mas dedica-se profissionalmente ao jornalismo e à escrita. Foi jornalista de imprensa escrita durante três anos e, actualmente, é Assessor de Imprensa e Relações Públicas da Câmara Municipal de Peniche.
Publicou o primeiro romance em 1998, com o título A Rainha de Copas, e venceu o prémio "Prosas de Estreia". Depois, no ano 2000, publicou Depois da Noite. Mandrágora é o seu terceiro romance, também publicado pela Editorial Notícias.
