Lourenço de Almeida

Lourenço de Almeida nasceu em Módena, Itália, em 1936. Licenciado em Direito pela Universidade de Lisboa, exerceu advocacia durante poucos anos tendo enveredado pela actividade empresarial. Esteve sempre ligado a actividades cívicas e culturais, nomeadamente ao CNC - Centro Nacional de Cultura, de cuja direcção, actualmente, faz parte, e onde é responsável pelo "Projecto Caminhos de Fátima". É membro da Associação dos Amigos do Caminho Português de Santiago, sediada em Ponte de Lima. Há muitos anos que colabora profissionalmente em revistas, assinando crónicas, reportagens e textos de opinião. Colaborou com António Homem-Cardoso e Hélder Carita no livro "Ritz - quatro décadas de Lisboa" e com o primeiro no álbum "O Caminho do Tejo", da série "Caminhos de Fátima". Tem peregrinado a Fátima e a Santiago.
