Lisa Rappaport é professora clínica assistente de Pediatria no Centro de Avaliação e Reabilitação Infantil Rose F. Kennedy, no Montefiore Medical Center, afiliado ao Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Também dá consultas numa clínica privada em Manhattan. Tem uma vasta formação e experiência em acompanhamento de crianças e adultos com dislexia e perturbação de défice de atenção. Vive em Nova Iorque com o marido e dois filhos.
