Lindsey Davis
Lindsey Davis was born in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and
studied English Literature at Oxford.
Her crime novels set in Classical Antiquity have earned her worldwide fame and several literary awards, notably the Crimewriters' Association Dagger, the Ellis Peters Historical Dagger, and the Sherlock Prize. In 2009, the city of Zaragoza awarded her the International Prize for her career as a historical writer. Thanks to the notoriety that Rome gained with her work, the city honored her with the Colosseo Prize in 2010.
In 2011 she was awarded the Cartier Diamond Dagger career achievement award by the Crimewriters Association.
