Lina Meruane
Lina Meruane was born in Chile in 1970. Considered one of the leading names in new South American literature, she is the author of three books of essays, a volume of short stories, and five novels, all widely praised by critics and translated into several languages.
He was awarded, among others, the prizes Anna Seghers, in 2011, and Sor Juana Inés de la CruzShe graduated in 2012. Currently, she is a professor of Latin American Culture and Creative Writing at New York University.
