Lina Meruane

Lina Meruane nasceu no Chile, em 1970. Considerada um dos principais nomes da nova literatura sul-americana, é autora de três livros de ensaios, um volume de contos e cinco romances, todos eles amplamente elogiados pela crítica e traduzidos para várias línguas.
Foram-lhe atribuídos, entre outros, os prémios Anna Seghers, em 2011, e Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, em 2012. É atualmente professora de Cultura Latino-Americana e de Escrita Criativa na Universidade de Nova Iorque.
