Lily Allen

Lily Allen, born in 1985 in Hammersmith, London, is a British singer, songwriter and writer known for her mix of pop, ska and electronic music, and for her intelligent, sarcastic and socially critical lyrics. She has become one of the most distinctive voices in British music of the 21st century, combining humour, vulnerability and irreverence.

The daughter of actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, she grew up in an artistic environment, but she forged her own path. After posting songs on MySpace in the mid-2000s, he quickly gained popularity for the freshness and irony with which he portrayed everyday life and modern relationships.

Their debut album, Alright, Still (2006), brought immediate hits such as "Smile" and "LDN", and introduced a new voice in British pop – witty, critical and full of personality.
