Lí Marta nasceu em Águeda, onde vive até hoje com a família.
A autora lançou em 2013 o seu primeiro romance O Último Adeus. O sucesso foi imediato e a obra acabou por ser traduzida em espanhol.
Rapidamente tornou-se numa das autoras preferidas do público português, devido aos seus irresistíveis romances.
Vários livros editados fazem parte do seu percurso literário.
