Leonor Duarte de Almeida

Maria Leonor Duarte de Almeida é oftalmologista em Lisboa. Mestre e Doutorada em Bioética lecionou na Faculdade de Medicina de Lisboa como Professora Auxiliar em Oftalmologia. Publicou cinco livros de ficção, um livro de ensaio sobre Autonomia em Bioética, em 2008, e viu o seu trabalho reconhecido pela crítica, recebendo o Prémio Revelação da SOPEAM, sendo ainda distinguida como premiada em Novos Autores Portugueses, pelo do IPLB em 2002. É membro da Associação Portuguesa de Escritores.
