Leonel Vieira

Leonel Vieira was born in Braga in 1966. He holds a degree in Basic Education (1st Cycle of Basic Education), a master's degree in Child Studies (Teaching and Learning of Mathematics), and a doctorate in Child Studies (Elementary Mathematics). All of his higher education studies were conducted at the University of Minho.

He is a teacher at the Santos Simões School Group in Guimarães, the city where he lives. He is the author and co-author of several articles and teaching materials for students and teachers of the 1st cycle of basic education. In 2012, he published his first children's book, "When Stars Turn into Numbers".
