Laura P. Vernetti é desenhadora e ilustradora espanhola, nascida em 1958. Licenciada em Pintura, colaborou durante 10 anos para a revista El Vibora. Assinando obras com diversos argumentistas, a sua obra versa sobretudo os temas de literatura adaptada a BD, a banda desenhada experimental, erótica e os temas sociais e políticos, tendo adaptado a BD autores como Maupassant, De Quincey, C.C. Yung, Kafka… O álbum 11 M, Once Miradas (2005), álbum sobre o atentado de Madrid, no qual Laura publicou a história Centelleante Universo, com argumento de Cava, recebeu em Roma o prémio Yellow Kid 2005, o qual foi atribuído a esta obra devido ao seu valor na investigação de novas vias na narrativa gráfica.
