Lara da Rocha Vaz Pato (Lisboa, 1988), escritora e humorista, fez o mestrado em Física Teórica e, na Bélgica, o doutoramento em Engenharia Biomédica. Viveu na Holanda, onde, além do seu trabalho como analista de dados, escrevia textos de humor e fazia standup em Eindhoven ou Amesterdão. Foi-lhe diagnosticado um cancro terminal do pulmão, no início da pandemia – este foi o ponto de partida para a escrita de textos sobre a sua vida. Alguns foram publicados nas revistas LER e Months to Years, e no livro Tell Your Story – Fall 2021. Foi também finalista de vários concursos internacionais de escrita. Lara morreu a 27 de maio de 2022. Escreveu até ao último dia da sua vida.
