Nascido em Abril de 1963, tem 53 anos, sendo esta a sua primeira obra literária.
Licenciado em Gestão de Empresas pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa (1986), MBA pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1990), e Pós-Graduação pelo ISEG (2000).
Oficial do Exército Português na situação de disponibilidade com um Louvor Militar (1987).
Esteve por seis vezes no Egipto, uma das quais na semana do golpe de Estado de Julho de 2013.
