Kiley Reid was born in Los Angeles, United States of America, in 1987. She studied theater in New York, in Marymount Manhattan Collegein addition to creative writing in Iowa Writers Workshop. Worked as babysitter for six years in New York, before dedicating himself to literature. The Best Years, his debut book, widely praised in the US by major publications such as Washington Postthe New York Timesa Weekly entertainment and the The Atlantic, he was also nominated in the United Kingdom for the Booker Prize of 2020.
