Kelly Bishop

Kelly Bishop é uma bailarina e atriz, mais conhecida pelos seus papéis como a matriarca Emily Gilmore na adorada série Gilmore Girls, vencedora de um Emmy, e como Marjorie Houseman no filme de sucesso Dirty Dancing: Ritmo Quente.
Nascida em Colorado Springs em 1944, Bishop mudou-se para Nova Iorque aos dezoito anos para seguir uma carreira no ballet. Anos mais tarde, o seu desempenho revolucionário no papel de Sheila Bryant no icónico musical A Chorus Line valeu-lhe um Tony e um Drama Desk Award. Passando da dança para a representação, os créditos de Bishop no ecrã incluem Seis Graus de Separação, Lei & Ordem: Unidade Especial, The Good Wife, A Maravilhosa Sra. Maisel, entre outros.
