Julia Glass, vencedora do National Book Award pelo seu romance Three Junes, foi bolseira do Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study no ano lectivo de 2004-2005. Obteve bolsas do National Endowment for the Arts e da New York Foundation for the Arts, e os seus contos receberam três prémios Nelson Algren e o prémio Tobias Wolff. Nova-iorquina de longa data, vive actualmente com a família no Massachusetts.
