Juergen Rochol

Bacharel em Física (1966) e mestre em Física Aplicada (1972) pelo Instituto de Física da UFRGS e doutor em Ciência da Computação (2001) pelo Instituto de Informática da UFRGS.
Estagiou em Marburg (1963) e Karlsruhe, Alemanha (1982).
Atuou no desenvolvimento de diversos equipamentos de comunicação de dados para empresas como Digitel, Parks e STI.
Pesquisador do curso de pós-graduação em Ciência da Computação da UFRGS desde 1976, é também professor convidado do Grupo de Redes de Computadores do Instituto de Informática da UFRGS, trabalhando com redes de banda larga, comunicações ópticas e sistemas sem fio.
