Joumana Haddad

Joumana Haddad é uma premiada escritora, poeta, tradutora literária, editora e jornalista. Em 2008, lançou a primeira revista cultural e erótica do mundo árabe, Jasad (Corpo), que fez manchetes em todo o mundo. Em 2007, foi eleita como um dos trinta e nove autores de Beirute. Nos últimos anos, tem integrado a lista das cem mulheres árabes mais poderosas, iniciativa de uma revista árabe de Economia. Eu Matei Xerazade — Confissões de Uma Mulher Árabe em Fúria (Sibila, 2017) foi aclamado pela crítica, traduzido em treze línguas e adaptado para o teatro. Vive em Beirute com os seus dois filhos.
