Joshua Wong

Joshua Wong nasceu em 1996. Apesar de jovem, foi considerado um dos líderes mais influentes do mundo pela TIME, Prospect e Forbes. Em 2018, foi indicado ao Prémio Nobel da Paz pelo seu papel no Movimento dos Guarda-Chuvas. É secretário-geral do Demosistõ, um partido político pró-democracia que fundou em 2016 e que defende uma maior autonomia para Hong Kong. Joshua fundou o movimento Scholarism para protestar contra a aplicação do programa de Educação Nacional chinês em Hong Kong. Foi detido inúmeras vezes e passou mais de 100 dias na cadeia.
