Joseph Andras (n. 1984), uma das vozes mais combativas e literárias da nova ficção francesa, colabora regularmente com o jornal L’Humanité. Publicou S’il ne restait qu’un chien (2017), texto poético sobre a história do porto de Le Havre, e Kanaky — Sur les traces d’Alphonse Dianou (2018), líder independentista da Nova Caledónia. O seu livro Dos Nossos Irmãos Feridos (Antígona, 2021) agitou as águas em França e venceu em 2016 o Prémio Goncourt para romance de estreia. O autor recusou-o, pois a sua visão da literatura «não é compatível com a ideia de competição, e a concorrência e a rivalidade são alheias à escrita e à criação».
