José Terra

José Terra é o pseudónimo literário de José Fernandes Silva. Nasceu em Prozelo, Arcos de Valdevez em 1928 e faleceu em Paris em 2014. Poeta, foi ao longo da vida ,Professor Universitário, filólogo, historiador, ensaísta, crítico e tradutor. Co-fundador das revistas árvore (1951-53) e Cassiopeia (1955) que tiveram um papel fundamental na renovação da poesia portuguesa dos anos 50. Publicou quatro livros e colaborou em várias revistas.
