José Pereira da Cruz

Nasceu em Lisboa em 1932. É médico aposentado e foi Presidente da Sociedade Portuguesa de Estomatologia e Medicina Dentária. Membro da Sociedade Portuguesa de Escritores e Artistas Médicos, foi professor de Ortodontia na Faculdade de Medicina Dentária de Lisboa, e é um antigo combatente da Guerra de África. Além de autor do livro "Histórias da Guerra: Angola 62/64" é também autor de várias publicações científicas. Em 2006 perdeu o seu filho mais velho por uma conspiração homicida, e no dia do seu funeral jurou dedicar a sua vida a lutar para que se fizesse justiça contra os assassinos responsáveis pelo crime.
