José Peixoto

José Peixoto é actor e encenador. Licenciado em História. Tornou-se profissional com Os Bonecreiros. Estagiou no Théâtre de Gennevilliers com Bernard Sobel e no Piccolo Teatro di Milano com Giorgio Strehler. Esteve na equipa inicial do Centro Cultural de Évora. Co-fundador do Teatro da Rainha. Esteve na Direcção do Teatro Malaposta. Trabalhou no Teatro Municipal de Almada e no Novo Grupo. Professor na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema leccionou Interpretação e Teoria e Prática da Encenação. Foi Presidente do Conselho Científico e Director do Departamento de Teatro. Trabalha no Teatro dos Aloés.
