José Marques

José Carlos Marques é Doutorado em Sociologia pela Universidade de Coimbra e agregado em Sociologia pela Universidade Nova. Professor-Adjunto do Instituto Politécnico de Leiria (Escola Superior de Educação e Ciências Sociais) e Investigador do CICS.NOVA.IPLeiria. Os seus interesses de investigação têm incidido sobre a emigração portuguesa contemporânea, a imigração em Portugal, em especial a resultante dos fluxos migratórios registados no final dos anos 90 e inícios século XXI, as políticas de imigração portuguesa, a migração qualificada e o processo de integração dos imigrantes na sociedade portuguesa.
