José Manuel Alves Quintas (Lisboa, 1960) é militar, tenente-coronel da Força Aérea Portuguesa. Licenciado em História e Mestre em História do Século XX (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), é autor de Filhos de Ramires. As origens do Integralismo Lusitano (Lisboa, 2004) e colaborador de dicionários de História e outras obras coletivas com estudos sobre temas de História Política e Militar do Século XX. Foi professor na Academia da Força Aérea (1995-2011). Foi editor do espaço na internet 'Unica Sempre Avis' (2000-2012) e do blogue 'Lusitana antiga liberdade' (2003-2012). É editor de 'Estudos Portugueses' (www.estudosportugueses.com), onde divulga documentação sobre figuras como António Sardinha. Conheceu melhor este Autor por intermédio de um integralista da última geração, Mário Saraiva (1910-1998).
