José Luis Corral

José Luis Corral Lafuente é sem dúvida o autor espanhol de maior êxito no género do romance histórico. Professor de História Medieval, publicou duas centenas de livros e artigos, realizou programas de rádio e escreveu guiões para rádio e televisão. Em 1992 obteve a medalha de prata no XXXIV Festival Internacional de Cinema e Televisão de Nova Iorque e foi assessor histórico do filme 1492 - Cristóvão Colombo de Ridley Scott.
