José Falcão Tavares

José Falcão Tavares nasceu em Abrantes, em julho de 1953.
Licenciado na Faculdade de Medicina no Hospital Santa Maria, em Lisboa, foi médico de família durante 37 anos.
Para além de livros técnicos de medicina, fundou o jornal Médico de Família em 1988 e publicou dois livros de poesia (1978 e 1999).
Em 2014, participou do Curso Livre de Medicina Narrativa, na Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa, e frequenta, desde 2022, o Clube de Leitura organizado pela Associação Portuguesa de Medicina Geral e Familiar.
O romance O beijo de Éva Kiss é a sua estreia em ficção.
