José Brandão
José Brandão was born in Algés, Oeiras, on March 14, 1948.
In 1969 he joined the army, mobilizing for the war in Mozambique, from where he returned at the end of 1971.
He would be arrested by the PIDE in early 1973, accused of belonging to an organization linked to the PCP, the ARA.
Connected to the world of trade unions and politics, in 1979 he adhered to the positions of the UGT and the PS, reaching prominent positions in these organizations.
He currently has no political or union affiliation.
He has a vast number of articles published between 1983 and 1995 in newspapers such as... Express, Daily News and the Lisbon Daily.
