José Alberto Simões

Doutorado em Sociologia pela Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NOVA FCSH), onde leciona. É igualmente investigador do CICS.NOVA (Centro Interdisciplinar de Ciências Sociais). Tem investigado sobre culturas juvenis, crianças/jovens e meios digitais, assim como ativismo e movimentos sociais. Coordenou o projeto «Networked youth activism» (2014 2015) e a participação portuguesa no estudo europeu Net Children Go Mobile (2013 2014), e foi coinvestigador responsável do projeto «ArtCitizenship» (2018 2022).
