José Alberto Morais da Silva

José Alberto Morais da Silva é Coronel Piloto Aviador, nasceu em Lisboa (1941-2014). Ingressou na Academia Militar em 1960 e foi graduado em General em 1975 e Chefe do Estado Maior da Força Aérea até 1977. Realizou uma comissão de serviço na Guiné. Concluiu o Curso Geral de Guerra Aérea e diversas formações da especialidade nos EUA, Itália e Alemanha. Serviu no Quartel General da NATO em Bruxelas, no EMFA e no IAEFA. Foram-lhe atribuídos diversos louvores e condecorações, sendo de destacar a Grã-Cruz da Ordem Militar de Cristo. Na reserva, em 1999, foi coordenador do Gabinete de Proteção Civil da Câmara Municipal de Oeiras e, desde 2000, diretor do Aeródromo Municipal de Tires (Cascais).
