Jorge Pinto é formado em Engenharia do Ambiente e doutor em Filosofia Social e Política. A nível académico, é o autor do livro A Liberdade dos Futuros – Ecorrepublicanismo para o Século XXI (Tinta-da-China, 2021) e coautor do livro Rendimento Básico Incondicional: Uma Defesa da Liberdade (Edições 70, 2019), vencedor do Prémio Ensaio da Sociedade Portuguesa de Filosofia. É coautor das bandas desenhadas Amadeo (Saída de Emergência, 2018), incluído no Plano Nacional de Leitura, e Liberdade Incondicional 2049 (Green European Journal, 2019). Escreveu ainda o livro Tamem Digo! (Iguana, 2026).
