Jorge Blaschke é jornalista e autor de vários livros de não ficção. Venceu o prémio Nacional de Jornalismo, em 1982, foi correspondente de El País, diretor de programas radiofónicos e guionista e produtor de documentários de televisão. É também autor de cerca de sessenta obras entre as quais se destacam O Fim da Igreja e o Último Papa, História oculta da Igreja e Jesus Cristo – A Verdadeira História.
