Jordi Burch

Jordi Burch nasceu em Barcelona, em 1979, cresceu em Lisboa, e vive em São Paulo há cerca de dez anos. Estudou Fotografia no Ar.Co, Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual. Fez parte do coletivo Kameraphoto. Colaborou com vários órgãos da imprensa: Grande Reportagem, Público, Expresso, Folha de São Paulo, Le Monde, Financial Times.

Desde 2008 tem vindo a expor com regularidade em museus e galerias, coletiva e individualmente: Plataforma Revólver (Lisboa), Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (Lisboa), Museu da Electricidade (Lisboa), Centro Cultural de Luanda (Angola), Museu Afro Brasil (São Paulo), Galeria Nara Roesler (São Paulo), Janaina Torres Galeria (São Paulo), PhotoEspaña (Cuenca).

Em 2015 publicou o livro Havia Sol e Éramos Novos, que fez parte da exposição Fotos contam fatos (Galeria Vermelho, São Paulo). É representado pela Janaina Torres Galeria (São Paulo). Em 2016 participou na Bienal de Arquitetura de Veneza, com a exposição Neighbourhood, do Pavilhão de Portugal.
