Joaquim M. Palma (Vila Viçosa, 1952) foi professor do ensino primário durante trinta e dois anos. Publicou duas obras sobre educação ambiental. Faz viagens a sítios onde os turistas não chegam e escreve sobre a beleza e o abandono que atingem pessoas e territórios remotos. Tem alguma poesia publicada em editoras independentes. Nos últimos dez anos, publicou os textos fundacionais do taoismo. Presentemente, está a traduzir para português a poesia haiku japonesa. Vive no campo, perto da cidade de Évora.
