Joaquim Correia

Nascido em Coimbra, faz o liceu e o serviço militar em Angola, licencia-se em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, mas envereda pelas Ciências Documentais. Vive onze anos em Macau, ponto de partida para conhecer o Oriente. É autor de diversos trabalhos ligados à investigação musical, designadamente Banda Sonora para uma Presença Oculta na Indonésia: o Keroncong; Angola Blues e Outras Histórias em Tons de Jazz; O Canto de Intervenção nas Ex-colónias Portuguesas: antes, durante e depois da Guerra Colonial; Beto dos Windies-Beto Kalulu: da cena musical em Luanda à consagração no Algarve; A Última Dança em Goa: música popular nos últimos anos do estado da Índia Portuguesa. As duas últimas publicações referidas foram da responsabilidade da editora Ideias com História.
