Joaquim Arena

Joaquim Arena (1964, ilha de São Vicente, Cabo Verde), filho de pai português e mãe cabo-verdiana, foi conselheiro cultural do presidente da República de Cabo Verde até 2021. A Verdade de Chindo Luz (2006) foi o seu primeiro romance. Debaixo da Nossa Pele saiu na China e nos EUA. Siríaco e Mister Charles, publicado pela Quetzal, recebeu o Prémio Oceanos, foi já publicado no Brasil e sairá nos EUA, Itália e Sérvia.
