João Paulo Cuenca nasceu no Rio de Janeiro, em 1978. Participou de diversa antologias no Brasil e no estrangeiro, e é autor dos romances Corpo Presente (2003), O Dia Mastroianni (2007), já publicado pela editorial Caminho e O Único Final Feliz para Uma História de Amor É Um Acidente(2010). Em 2007 foi selecionado pelo Hay Festival como um dos 39 jovens autores mais destacados da América Latina.
