João Nuno Tavares

João Nuno Tavares formou-se em Engenharia Mecânica na Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto e em Matemática Pura na Faculdade de Ciências da mesma universidade.
É membro do Centro de Matemática da Universidade do Porto e Professor Associado no Departamento de Matemática da Faculdade de Ciências daquela universidade.
Doutorou-se em Física Matemática no Instituto Superior Técnico, em métodos matemáticos em quantização loop da Relatividade.
Atualmente dedica-se a modelação matemática em biologia molecular e terapias de cancro.
