João Miranda

João Bernardo de Miranda nasceu a 18 de julho de 1953 no Dande-Caxito província do Bengo, Angola.
Licenciado em Direito, é jornalista, político e Embaixador.
Como autor publicou a sua primeira obra, Nambuangongo, em 1998, seguida de três outras de ficção, Pethelo-a-Kuma - O Menino Inteligente, Hebu – ambas publicadas em 2012 – e sendo a mais recente obra intitulada, Nova Evangelização, Precisa-se?, em 2021.
Em 2012 a obra Pethelo-a-Kuma - O Menino Inteligente foi coencenada pelo Teatro Jangada e pelo Teatro Pé de Vento ambos do Porto, Portugal.
É membro fundador da União dos Jornalistas Angolas (UJA) e da antiga Associação dos Juristas Angolanos (AJA).
É membro da União dos Escritores Angolanos (UEA).
