João Machado

João Machado nasceu em 1955 nas Minas de Jales, concelho de Vila Pouca de Aguiar, numa fratria de oito irmãos. Tem três filhos. É médico, especialista de Medicina Interna e de Infecciologia. Trabalhou no Hospital Curry Cabral (1982-2016) e no HFF (2017-2021). Publicou Tributo aos Doentes com VIH/SIDA do Hospital Curry Cabral (2021) e Minas de Jales, Onde Gente Valente Lutou pelos Filhos (2023).
