João França
João França was born in Funchal in 1908 and died in Lisbon in 1996. A journalist and writer, he leaves behind a significant legacy in the field of 20th-century cultural and literary heritage. Recognized for his novels and contributions to theatre, João França also excelled in poetry, chronicles, and his work in the press, both in Madeira and mainland Portugal.
