João Figueira

João Figueira é Doutorado em Estruturas Sociais da Economia e História Económica, pela FLUC; e investigador-convidado do Gabinete de História Económica e Social do ISEG. Desenvolve trabalhos na área da história do sector elétrico como: O Estado na electrificação portuguesa: Da Lei de Electrificação do País à EDP (1945 -1976), Tese de Doutoramento (trabalho ainda inédito), ou Uma história da electricidade em Portugal, editado pelos CTT em 2018. Entre os seus trabalhos mais recentes conta-se também o estudo Distribuição de energia eléctrica em Portugal (1976-2000), editado pela EDP-Distribuição em 2019.
