João Ferreira

João Manuel Peixoto Ferreira (Lisboa, 20 de novembro de 1978) é um biólogo e político português, que foi deputado no Parlamento Europeu pelo Partido Comunista Português (PCP); parte do Grupo Confederal da Esquerda Unitária Europeia/Esquerda Nórdica Verde de 2009 a 2021, do qual foi vice-presidente. Desde outubro de 2013, é Vereador do PCP na Câmara Municipal de Lisboa.
Foi candidato, apoiado pelo PCP e PEV, às eleições presidenciais portuguesas de 2021, onde alcançou o quarto lugar com 4.32% dos votos, ou 180.473 votos.
Vencedor do prémio de "Embaixador do Desenvolvimento" em 2013, pelo Instituto Marquês de Valle Flôr, pelo seu papel na "promoção de políticas europeias mais justas e coerentes".
