Joana Filipa Silva

Joana Filipa Silva, nascida em 1987, natural de Amarante. A leitura de um livro desperta-lhe a curiosidade sobre a surdez e a Língua Gestual Portuguesa (LGP). Em 2005, ingressa na licenciatura de Tradução e Interpretação em LGP. Encontra-se a exercer funções no Agrupamento de Escolas João de Araújo Correia-Peso da Régua. Fez parte da publicação de dois livros: Ser Intérprete de Língua Gestual Portuguesa (2015) e Intérprete que sou (2019) com a escrita de dois artigos. Desde 2020, integra a direção da ATILGP- Associação de Tradutores e Intérpretes de LGP. Acredita que o intérprete de LGP cria pontes de comunicação e que essas pontes podem alargar-se para a sociedade, tornando-a mais justa, equitativa, inclusiva e feliz.
